The Lost Member of Hall & Oates

Few people know that the classic R&B/Soul duet, Hall & Oates was actually a trio.

The following, exclusive video is rare footage of the third member of the group.

Enjoy!

PS. Ignore the large piece of lunch meat in one of the clips. I like to perform at dinner.

On the March

Being the son of a Majorette and the former President of the GlenOak Golden Eagle Marching Band, it is only natural that I would quickly fall in love with marching and marching band music.

The following is a brief video montage of me enjoying the annual Battle of the Bands between Grambling University and Southern University (Southern won, easily). I have also added quick clips of my cousin and me marching to our own drummers over Christmas and, of course, some of me enjoying TBDITL.

See you "across the field" soon.

Merry Christmas

My second Christmas was a lot of fun. My Mom, Dad and I spent the week in Canton, OH visiting family and friends.

The best part of our time out of town was getting to see my aunts, uncles and cousins who live far away. My Aunt Michele, Uncle Hans and cousin Jens were in town from St. Petersburg, FL and my Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kris, cousin Anna and cousin Mary Jane were in from San Diego, CA. Aunt Janelle and Uncle Adam were in from Columbus (so maybe they don't live quite as far away).

It was a blast! Here are some pictures in case you don't believe

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

PS - The pictures of my cousin Jens and me are nowhere to be found.

My Aunt Sarah took these pictures of me and my mom

It was fun hanging out with my Dad and chasing our cat

My cousin Anna and I did get to go to Schmidt's Sausage Haus before she went back to San Diego

I'm 1 and Ready to Roll

On November 14, I turned one year-old. My parents threw me a great party, so I was able to celebrate the day with many of my friends and family.

The day was awesome and it capped off an incredible year.

Here are some pictures from the weekend as well as some of my first steps from the week before.

I can't wait for next year!

Summer Funnin'

Besides the trip to the Outerbanks, I had a great time over the summer months with my family. We made it up to Canton to for the 4th of July. I went to a parade and got to swim in a pool for the first time.

I also had a lot of fun hanging out with my Mom and Dad. My Mom would wear me out during the day and then my Dad and I would pass out on the couch after he put in a long day at work.

I did try to lighten my Dad's workload a while, as you will see below, but my inability to correctly process a TPS report landed me in some hot water with my Dad's boss.

Summer is almost here again, and I'm sure this year will be filled with even more fun this year.

See you at the pool!

OBX: Outstanding Ben Xperience

At the end of July, my good friends, Adam and Jessica, invited my parents and me to attend their wedding in the Outerbanks. This was my first real vacation, not counting all of my trips to Canton, and my first chance to see the Atlantic Ocean.

We drove through the night to Kill Devil Hills, NC and then the fun began. We played on the beach, swam in the pool and ate lots of good food. I have included some pictures below from our trip and the wedding. The ceremony was as beautiful as the sunrises my Dad and I enjoyed on our morning walks (there are some pictures of that below as well).

I can't wait to go back!

Back to the Blog

Alright, alright. It has been awhile since I have posted anything to my blog. The fact of the matter is that I started crawling in August, and I haven't stopped moving since. Now that the novelty has worn off, my parent and loyal readers have convinced me to get back to the blog to let you know what I have been up to.

I plan to bring you up to speed with my next several posts. Hopefully I will be able to successfully capture how amazing the last 8 months have been.

Enjoy!
