Singin' to my sister

As you have heard, my mom has an amazing singing voice. I'm sure her love of music has been a reason for why I enjoy singing and dancing so much.

When I was a baby, she used to sing a lullaby song to me. Now that I am a big brother, I like to help mom by singing that same lullaby to my sister. I think she likes my singing because she smiles at me or falls asleep. She especially likes when I sing to her in the car when she is really upset. Once I start singing, she calms right down and is asleep in know time.

Here are two videos of me singing to Maggie just for fun.

Enjoy!

Christmas in July

I love Christmas. The fun of playing in the snow, seeing family and friends, celebrating Jesus’s birth and of course the PRESENTS.

We are currently in the dog days of Summer, but we are halfway to Christmas. The video below is from last Christmas and is a little reminder of how great that time of year is. Man, I wish it were Christmas today.

Merry Half Christmas!

Put me in coach!

We have made it to Summer which means it's time for baseball. I love playing different sports but my favorite is baseball. I love getting my family members together and having them play with me.

My favorite position is catcher. I like to pretend I'm wearing a mask and having conferences on the mound with the pitcher. My favorite player, of course, is Carlos Santana.

This video tells the story of my journey to prepare for the day when I finally got the call; I was headed up 71 to the Big Leagues.

Go Tribe!

Are you ready to rock?

For those of you who have followed my blog, you know that one of my passions is music. I love all types of music, from rock, to rap, to show tunes. I am looking forward to sharing my love for music with my new sister.

I appreciate all of my friends and family who have encouraged me in my music. I would like to especially thank my Grandma Deb and Grandpa Gary who gave me a microphone and stand for Christmas. This gift might have set the launch of my music career into hyperdrive.

The following music video is my first true video which could appear on MTV if they decide to show videos again. Note: A rough cut leaked out on Facebook back in January, so it might look familiar. We've worked on the sounds and the video quality for better viewing.

Without further ado, I have one last question for you;
Are you ready to rock?
Ben

PS - Watch out Bieber, I'm coming for you.

Maggie Michele

I'm back and with big news. I am a big brother!

I realize I have been off the blog for awhile now. I have been rather busy having a lot of fun and growing up. I've had a big birthday (3), I've seen some big wins for my beloved Buckeyes and Browns (Aaron Craft is my favorite player - ask anyone), I've had a ton of fun playing with my friends at Donna's, but nothing has been as awesome as becoming a big brother.

We all met Maggie Michele yesterday, 2/25/2011, at 9:35 AM. She was born at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH, weighing 6 lbs 9oz, and measuring 19" long. She is really cute. She has a soft little cry that we haven't heard too much yet. She has some dark hair covering her head and her eyes look like they could be blue (we'll see about that).

I have been looking forward to meeting her for awhile and now that she is here, I can't wait to have her at home so that I can play with her.

Here are some pictures from her birth day. I look forward to posting more pictures as she gets older and introducing you to her in person.

Blog to you later,
Ben

The Lost Member of Hall & Oates

Few people know that the classic R&B/Soul duet, Hall & Oates was actually a trio.

The following, exclusive video is rare footage of the third member of the group.

Enjoy!

PS. Ignore the large piece of lunch meat in one of the clips. I like to perform at dinner.
